消防安全专员KeyRolesandResponsibilitiesofPosition

•FunctionallysuperviseandprovideSubjectMatterExpertise(SME)guidanceforfirelossprevention,fireprotectionandemergencyresponseactivitiesinexistingfacilitiesforAP.

•Developlossprevention,fireprotectionandemergencyresponseprogramsforallnewfacilitiesthroughoutAP.Trainthefireprotectionpersonnel,plantsecuritypersonnelandemergencyresponseteamsintheseprograms.

•SMEsupportfordesign,installationandcommissioningofallfireprotectionsystems.

•Setup,developandevaluatefireinspectionprogramsforthemaintenanceofthefireequipment.

•ConductperiodiclosspreventionandfireprotectionreviewsofCompanyfacilitiestoassurebasiclosspreventionandfirecontrolstandardsandproceduresarebeingfollowed.

•Reviewinsurancecarrierreportsandworkwithplantandinsurancecarriertoresolvetherecommendationswithinthreeyearsofissue.

•Participateinandprovidefireengineeringsupportforbothnewconstructionandrenovation/expansionprojectsfrominceptiontocompletion.

•OrganizeanEmergencyResponseTeamforeachplanttrainedtorespondtospecificplanthazards.

•ProvidealternativecosteffectivesolutionsthatfullyprotectthepropertyandlivesofFordanditsemployees.

•InterfacewithplantmanagementandAPseniorleadership.

•Developandimplementfireprotectionstrategies.

•Internationalfireprotectionexperience.

•Evaluatenewproductsrelatedtofireprotection,gas-fireequipmentandlifesafety.

•ReviewliteratureandmakerecommendationsforrevisiontoCorporateFireStandardstoachievecostsavings.
