•TheKeyAccount(AbGenius)TeamfocusesonatailoredapproachandcustomerservicesupportingKOLstodrivekeyaccountsrevenuetodeliverAbcam’sstrategicgoalsandobjectives.TheseeffortswillutilizeourbroadcapabilitiestopositionAbcamasThepartnerforcutting-edgescientistsintheAcademic/bio-industry/hospitalmarkets.
•Workingacrossmultiplechannels,weaimtopositionthefullscopeofAbcam’sinnovativetechnologyplatformsandexpertisetoservescientistswhilecapturingdownstreamrevenueopportunities.Mostimportantly,weareconstantlyworkinghand-in-handwiththesescientiststohelpthemachievebetterresearchoutcomesandtoacceleratetheirdiscoveries’leadtime
Roles&responsibilities:
•Establishstrategicplans,objectivesandforecastsforeachkeyaccountandupdateplansmonthly.
•Servesasaconsultanttothetargetaccounts,trackingtheshoppinglistofAccountsandidentificationofkeyinfluencers,decisionmakersandendusers.
•WorkwithChannelManagersanddistributorsalesteamstodrivethetechnicalaspectsofpre-salesandpost-salesactivities
•Leverageavailableresourcestomeetcustomerneedsandworkeffectivelywithcross-functionalteamsofsuppliersandinternalresources
•IntroduceAbcam’scutting-edgeproductportfoliobasedonPrincipleInvestigators’(PI)latestresearchanddiscoveries
•DevelopstrongrelationshipsandpartnershipswithKeyAccountswiththeaimtoexpandbusinessopportunities.
•Keepabreastofmarketandcustomerresearchtherebyprovidingexpertiseandinsightstintospecificmarketsandindustriestointernalandexternalcustomers
•Stayinformedofproducttacticsaswellasprovidecustomerfeedbacktothemarketing/portfolioteam
Aboutyou
•Master’sDegree,Ph.Dpreferred,majorsinmolecularbiologyor/andbiotechnology,
•Provenexperience(1-3years)insalesandkeyaccountmanagementwithinthelifescienceindustry.
•Solidknowledgeofcutting-edgelifescienceresearchadvancementsandbioindustrytechnologiesispreferred.
•Strongcommunicationandpresentationskills.
•Self-starter,drivesactionswithpassion.
•Hasstrongnegotiationandinfluencingskills.
•AbilitytoimplementanddeliveronspecificAccountstrategyplans.
•PerformsotherdutiesasassignedbytheKeyAccountManagementHead.
