Basedonfinite-elementandmulti-bodydynamicstechnology,andthroughadvancedanalysisandoptimizationalgorithms,OptiStructhelpsdesignersandengineersrapidlydevelopinnovative,lightweightandstructurallyefficientdesigns.Itisusedbythousandsofcompaniesworldwidetoanalyzeandoptimizestructuresfortheirstrength,durabilityandNVH(noise,vibrationandharshness)characteristics.
Responsibilities:
?Developpreprocessingandpostprocessingsupportforvarioussolutionsequences,aswellastheirassociatedoptimizationcapabilities,inOptiStruct.
?Develop,improveandmaintainalgorithmstosupportcorefeaturessuchasmemoryanddiskmanagement,datastructureoptimization,errorreporting,etc.
?Developutilitiestointerfacewiththird-partysoftwareaccordingtotheprovidedspecificationsandrequirements.
?Debugthecodewhenevernecessaryandaddressdefectsquickly.
?DevelopQAproblemsfortestingfeatures.
?Runtimingstudiestoimprovecodeperformance.
?Workcloselywithothersintheteamtocompletemajortasks.
?Meetprojectrequirementsinanaccurateandtimelymanner.
Qualifications:
?Minimumeducationrequired:Master’sDegreeinMechanical,AerospaceorStructuralEngineering.PhDpreferred.
?ProgrammingknowledgeinFortran.ProgrammingknowledgeinC/C++isdesirablebutnotrequired.
?Basicknowledgeoffiniteelementanalysis(FEA)andoptimizationtechniques.
