生命科学技术支持专家SCOPEOFRESPONSIBILITY:

TheSeniorTechnicalSpecialist(STS)isoneofthekeyscientificresourceforProcessServiceSolution(PSS)andwillberesponsibleforprovidingscientificanddirectedtechnicalthoughtleadershipinlinewithregulatoryexpectationtotheMerckBioReliancebiotestingcustomerslocatedintheAsiaPacificregion.

Thiswillincludedirectcontactwithclientbaseandthecommercialteamstoleadinteractionanddiscussiononroutinetestingoptions,regulatoryadviceandinputintotechnicaldesignofcustomassays.TheSeniorTechnicalSpecialistisresponsibleforthescientificintegrityoftechnicalworkinBiologicsandforensuringthetestingsolutionsneedsofclientsaremetorexceeded.

PURPOSEOFTHEPOSITION

Basedonastrongunderstandingofcurrentandanticipatingfuturecustomer,marketandregulatoryneeds,theSeniorTechnicalSpecialistofFieldTechnicalServicesisresponsibleforprovidingscientificexcellencefortheAsiaPacificBiologicscustomer.He/Shewillidentifyemergingproducts,technologytrends,customrequirementsandchampioncustomactivitiesthatwillgrowthebusinessfromtheAsiaPacificregion.ThejobholderperformsdutiesindependentlywhilstworkingincollaborationwithglobalteamsincludingUKandUSFieldandOperationalDevelopmentServices,Operations,Sales&Marketing,andQualityAssurance.TheSTSreportstotheGlobalHeadofFieldTechnicalServicesServices.

ESSENTIALJOBFUNCTIONS

•ActasthetechnicalexpertintheBiologicsCLC,LRTandVCareasfortheBioRelianceAsiaPacificcustomers,providingscientificandtechnicalthoughtleadershipdirectlytotheclient.Actasthescientificsupportforclients;providingtechnicalinputintorelevantprogramswithongoingscientificsupportwithcustomprojectsandensurescientificandtechnicalsolutionsmeetcurrentregulatoryexpectations

•SupporttoSalesandOperationsformajorcustomeracquisitionsbyprovidingscientificandregulatorysupport,generatecustomproposalstowinneworders.Ownsthescientificandregulatoryrelationshipwithkeyclients.

•Musthavemulti-scientificknowledge:Microbiology,MolecularBiology,Virology,ImmunoassaysandworkcloselywithotherFieldDSandOperationalDSrepresentatives

•UnderstandregulatorydirectionfordifferentagencieswithinAPregion(KFDA,CFDA,MLHW)andensureknowledgeandunderstandingofglobalregulatoryneeds

•MonitorindustrytrendstoensurethatBioRelianceremainsattheforefrontofscientificadvancementsinthefieldofBiologics;reviewandrecommendpotentialtechnicaldevelopmentstowiderbusiness

•Interactproactivelyandproductivelywithcolleagueswithintheglobalcommercialteamandseniorleadershipteam

•PromoteacultureofcontinuousimprovementwithinBiologicsactaschampiononinitiativesand/orprojectstodriveimprovementinqualityand/orclientservice
