beresponsibleforowningandexecutingStartupBDprogramsinChina.Youneedtoidentify,developandexecutestructuredandscalablestartupprogramstoinfluencestartups’adoptionofcompanyplatform.Youneedtoworkcloselywithsales,operation,marketingandtechnicalteamswithincompanytoreachconsensusandaligninterests.YouwillalsoneedtoworkcloselywiththeglobalProgramManagementteamintheUStomaintainconsistencyofcompanystartupprogramsaroundtheworldandborrowbestpractice.Youmustbeabletounderstandandrelatetothestartupexperience,haveaninnateunderstandingforstartupfoundersandtechnicaldecisionmakersatearlystagecompanies,andbepassionateaboutevangelizingnewideasforthiscommunity.Ideally,youaresomeonethathasexperiencedesigninganddevelopingnewproductstargetedatthestartupcommunity.Youshouldbefamiliarandinterestedindrivinginnovationincustomerfacingproducts,andhaveatrackrecordofowningsuccessful,metrics-drivendevelopmentplans.Youmustbeabletoworkwithandinfluencedifferentteamsacrossorganizationstoworktowardacommongoal.
Theidealcandidatewillhaveastrongprogrammanagementbackgroundwithexperienceleadingmediumtolargeprojects.Thecandidatewillalsohaveabusinessdevelopmentbackgroundwithstrongabilitytoearntrustwithstartupfounders,aswellasworkcross-functionallyacrosstheAmazonorganization.Akeensenseofownership,drive,andscrappinessisamust.

Workcloselywithstartupcustomers,StartupBusinessDevelopment,Marketing,SalesandOperationteamsacrosstheorganizationtounderstandtheneedsofentrepreneursandhowtohelpthemmeetthoseneedsandachievegrowth.
Researchanddevelopsolutionstoprocessgapsandhurdlesinthestartupexperience.
LiaisewiththeglobalStartupProgramManagementteamtofront-endtheexecutionandregionalizationofalltheStartupsfocusedprogramsattheChinalevel.
Implementcustomerusagemetrics&reporting,withastrongfocusonimprovingcustomerexperience.Managetheentirelifecycleoftheinitiativesyouareresponsiblefor,includingshowingoperationssuccessanddevelopingonfurtheriterations.
BasicQualifications
Bachelor’sdegreeinaquantitativefieldsuchasMathematics,Statistics,Engineering,ComputerScience,Economics,Finance,Business,operationorrelatedfield.
7-10+yearsofprogram/productmanagementorbusinessdevelopmentexperience.
Demonstratedunderstandingandsavvinessinthestartupspace,includingcommonpatternsofsuccessforstartupcustomers.
Provenabilitytolaunchsuccessful,externalexperiencesthatareusedandlovedbytheircustomers.Operationalsavviness,abilitytoprioritizeandworkonmultipleprojectssimultaneously,keepingfocusonexecutionanddeliveringresultsconsistently.
Provenabilitytoworkcooperativelywithvariousteams,includingbusinessdevelopment,operationsandsales.Demonstratedabilitytointeractwithstartupexecutivestobothunderstandtheirrequirements,andtodiscussproposedprogramsandengagements.StartupProgramManager
