NPDProjectMgr/新产品开发项目经理JobOutput:

AdivisionofinvestmentCo.,Ltd.isseekingaprojectmanagerwhowillreportdirectlytotheSeniorManagerofAsianNewProductDevelopment.ThisisahighprofileandvisiblerolewithintheNPDandGo-To-Marketorganizationthatrequiresanon-compromisingcommitmenttowardsthesuccessfulachievementoftargetedobjectives.Therolewillbeinvolvedinallaspectsofthenewproductdevelopmentprocess,startingwithideationandthedevelopmentofkeyproductsegmentinputs(technologyplatforms,competitiveinformation,etc)throughtoandincludingcommercialization.

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities

•ThedesignandexecutionofnewproductdevelopmentprojectswithintheNPDOrganization.

•Insuringtheeffective/disciplineduseoftheNPDprocessandrelatedsub-processesbyallprojectteamandfunctionalsupportmembers.

•SupportingProductManagersinthedevelopmentofbusinesschartersandotherkeydocumentation.

•Managingmulti-disciplinedprojectteamsintheachievementofselectedstrategicandtacticalobjectives.

•Developingandmanagingprojectmetricsthatmonitorprojectperformanceagainstestablishedobjectives.

•Developingandmanagingprojectbudgetswithinagreedupontargets.

•DevelopingandmanagingprojectresourceplansthroughClarityandtheresourcemanagementprocess.

•Achievingtargetedcost,scheduleandproductperformanceobjectives.

•Providingleadershipformulti-disciplinedandgeographicallyseparatedprojectteams.

•TheeffectivecommunicationofprojectactivitiestoallkeyNPDprocessandbusinessstakeholders.

•ParticipatinginNPDprocess‘tollgate’meetings,asdefinedbyprojectandprocessrequirements.

•AnalyzingandrecommendingimprovementsintheNPDprocessandsupportingsub-processes.

•Coachingselectedresourcesintheeffectiveuseofprojectmanagementtoolsandtechniques.

-ThispositionwillhavefrequentinteractionwithveryseniormembersoftheglobaloperationsincludingthecorporateStrategicProjectManager,theVPWorldwideR&D,GeneralNPDmanagerandManagingDirectorAsiaPacific,etc.

-Itisimportantthatcandidatesforthispositionbecomfortableinteractingwithexecutivesaswellasshopemployeeswhoareinvolvedintheproductionoperations.

-TheNewProductDevelopmentProjectManageralsowillservesasamemberoftheWorldwideR&DOrganization–andwillcollaboratewithotherproject,technicalandfunctionalleadersensuringtheeffectiveutilizationofresourcesandachievementofallprojectobjectives.

Requirements/Qualifications

-BSdegreeinEngineering,Chemistry,orotherrelatedfieldofstudy.

-10+yearsbusinessexperience.

-Superiororganizationalandprojectmanagementskillswithaminimumof2yearsinleadprojectmanagementrole(s).

-Excellentwritten,verbalandinterpersonalcommunicationskillswithGoodEnglish

-Strongreasoningandlogicskills.

-Provenabilitytomotivateanddriveresultsinpositionswithout'direct'managementcontrol.

-Previousexperiencewithproductsorresilient/vinyltypeproductmanufacturingwouldbeatremendousasset.
