3.Developandoptimizeoligonucleotidesynthesisprocess,defineQCmethodsandprepareSOPs.Transferthedevelopedprocedurestomanufacturing.

4.Collaboratewithand/orsuperviseotherscientistsandengineersonjointprojects.

5.Documentationofexperimentalwork;analysisofdata;documentingandpresentingresults

Qualifications:

1.Ph.Dinorganicchemistry,analyticalchemistry,biology,biochemistry,scienceorequivalentofacombinationofeducationorexperience,orMSinthesamefieldswithminimal3yearsofrelevantexperience,orBSinthesamefieldswithminimal5yearsofrelevantexperience.

2.Experiencewithnucleoside,nucleotide,andsolid-phaseoligonucleotidesynthesis.

3.Abilitytoworkinacleanroomenvironment.

4.Proficientintheuseofmethodsofinstrumentalchemicalanalysis,suchasHPLC,MS,ishighlypreferred.

5.Demonstratedabilitytoplanandexecuteindependentandcollaborativeresearchprojects.

6.Demonstrationofgoal-oriented,hands-onandinnovativeapproachtoproblemsolving.

7.Excellentwrittenandoralcommunicationskills.

8.Excellentdocumentationskills.Abletopreparedocumentsincludingdatasummaries,technical,analytical,andscientificreports,andtransfertheprocedurestomanufacturing.
