ForourShanghaiOfficewearelookingforasuccessful"SeniorApplicationEngineer–AutomotiveIndustry”whobuildsonhis/herexperiencesintheAutomotiveindustry,itsworkflowsandprocessesin(embedded)softwaredevelopmentandtestingandcaneffectivelycommunicatethebenefitsoftheintegratedMathWorkstoolchaintocustomers.

Responsibilities

*Providetechnicalpre-salessupportandguidancetothesalesorganization,prospects,andcustomersinthedomainsoftechnicalcomputinganddataanalytics,modeling/designing/simulatingand/orprototypingcontrolalgorithmandsystems,aswellasimplementingdesignsonMCUsorDSPsorPLCsthroughautomaticcodegenerationandverificationtechniquesby:

*Preparinganddeliveringpresentations,demonstrations,andapplicationexamplesincustomermeetings,seminars,andotherpubliceventsManagingproductevaluationsanddevelopingadoptionplansthatassistcustomersinadoptingMathWorksproducts

*Partneringwithaccountmanagerstohelpdevelopaccountandterritorylevelsellingstrategies

*Identifynewtrendsandapplicationareasandprovidefeedbacktodevelopmentandmarketingteams.Collaboratewiththeworldwideteamondevelopingcompellingmessagesanddemonstrations.

*AdvocateforthefuturedirectionofMathWorksproductsbasedoncustomerinteractions.

*Establishrapportandcredibilitywithourcustomersacrossmultiplehierarchylevelstobuildchampionusersandsupportersofoursolutions.

MinimumQualifications

*Abachelor'sdegreeand7yearsofprofessionalworkexperience(oramaster'sdegreeand5yearsofprofessionalworkexperience,oraPhDdegree)isrequired.

*Candidatesmustbewillingtotravel25%to50%ofthetime
