Responsibilities

•Identifyvaluabledatasourcesandautomatecollectionprocesses

•Undertakepreprocessingofstructuredandunstructureddata

•Analyzelargeamountsofinformationtodiscovertrendsandpatterns

•Buildpredictivemodelsandmachine-learningalgorithms

•Combinemodelsthroughensemblemodeling

•Presentinformationusingdatavisualizationtechniques

•Proposesolutionsandstrategiestobusinesschallenges

•Collaboratewithengineeringandproductdevelopmentteams

Requirements

•ProvenexperienceasaDataScientistorDataAnalyst

•Experienceindatamining

•Understandingofmachine-learningandoperationsresearch

•KnowledgeofR,SQLandPython;familiaritywithScala,JavaorC++isanasset

•Experienceusingbusinessintelligencetools(e.g.Tableau)anddataframeworks(e.g.Hadoop)

•Analyticalmindandbusinessacumen

•Strongmathskills(e.g.statistics,algebra)

•Problem-solvingaptitude

•Excellentcommunicationandpresentationskills

•BSc/BAinComputerScience,Engineeringorrelevantfield;graduatedegreeinDataScienceorotherquantitativefieldispreferred
