•KnowandunderstandtheSector/Divisionstrategicdirection.

-Define,developandimplementSystemsAuditstrategies,whichcontributetothestrategicdirection.

-ProvideregularupdatestoGlobalQualityManagerontheexecutionofthestrategy.

-Aligntacticalauditactivitiessuchthattheyservetocheckandvalidatethestrategies.

-SupportBusinessUnitinallQualityrelatedaspectsassociatedbypotentialandnewbusiness

•CustomerEngagement

-Understandthecustomerbusiness(Newprograms,producttransitions,technologytrends,andintegrationsiterequirements).

-Understandanddriveproducttooling/inspectionstrategiestomeetcustomerqualityneedswhileenablingthelowestlandedcost.

-Understandandchampioncustomerrequestsforcorrective/preventiveaction.

-ServeasaFocalPointformajorcustomerqualityissues.

-SupportQualityeffortsfrommaterialqualificationtoenduserreliability.

•Regulatory/Statutory

-Supportregulatoryqualificationrequirementsasrequired.

CostConscience/ContinuousImprovement

-Utilizetoolstomonitordepartmentalcostandcosttrends,strivingcontinuouslytoimprovevalue.

-Identifycreativewaystoreducewastebystreamliningprocessesandsystems(i.e.analysisoftherequirements,modificationofresponsibilitiesorconsolidationoftasks,eliminationofnon-value-addedprocesses,orre-engineeringofprocessesandsystems).

-MonitortrendsinQualitydata(yields,dpm,correctiveactions)toidentifycontinualimprovementopportunities.

-Actasacatalystforchangingthemindsetsfromoneofreactivelymeasuringtheproducttooneofproactivelymonitoringtheprocessforoptimizedperformanceandquality.

-Assistineliminatingnonvalue-addedinspectionbyinstillingan"inspectionatthesource"mentality.

-SteerCustomerProductEngineeringandnewprogramteamstowardssystemsandinformationrequirementsthatfitJabil'sobjectivesoflowercosts,lessduplicationofeffort,andimprovedresponsiveness.

-Ensurerealtimecontainmentandresolutionofproblems.

•Teamwork

-Workwithengineerstodevelopproductqualityobjectivesconsistentwithcustomerexpectationsandteamplans.

-Providestrongleadershiptotheteaminactivitiesrelatingtoproductquality.

-AssumetheQualityconscienceoftheteaminallaspectsofthebusiness.

-Provideaccurate,timelyfeedbackofproductionissuestothework-cellteams.

-Provideweeklycommunicationforumfortheexchangeofideasandinformationwiththedepartment.

-EstablishrelationshipsandcontactswithProductEngineeringandassemblypersonneltounderstandprocessmaturityandeffectsontransitiontoproductrealization.

•Analytical

-Analyzedataandmetrics.Escalateissuesanddecliningtrendstotheappropriatepersonnelforresolution.

Companystewardship

-Adheretoallsafetyandhealthrulesandregulationsassociatedwiththispositionandasdirectedbysupervisor.

-Complyandfollowallprocedureswithinthecompanysecuritypolicy.

-Mayperformotherdutiesandresponsibilitiesasassigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

•Bachelor'sdegreeandfiveyearsrelatedexperience;orequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.

•Plus2yearsmanagement/supervisoryexperiencerequired.

•Plus2yearsNPIprogramimplementationexperiencerequired.

•Metalprocessandplasticinjectionmoldingprocessisrequired.

•MustbefamiliarwithJabilmetricsincludingDPMO,FPY,DPM,etc,SixSigma,andmustbeproficientatFMEA.

•Oranequivalentcombinationofeducation,trainingorexperience.Internationaltravelrequired.
