OurChinaDirectShipisanewlylaunchedplatformdesignedtosourcenewnessacrossallsegmentsofourbusiness,tofindqualityvendorsinChinathatofferuniqueproductsatunbeatableprices,andtodrivetheabilitytomoveonhotnewtrendsandtestthemwellbeforetheyhittheU.S.and/orglobalmarket.
Joinafast-pacedandgrowingteaminarolethatwillberesponsibleformanagingtheourChinaSourcing/TechnicalDesign/QualityTeam.AdditionalresponsibilitiesofthisroleincludebutarenotlimitedtoactingliaisonbetweenSeattleHQteamandthird-partyChinapartners,USQAandOperations/Logisticdepartments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ManagementResponsibilities
•Learnandunderstandourbusinessmodelandcompetitivelandscape;knowtheorganization’smarketandhowwefitintoit
•Leadtheteamtodrivevendor,productandbusinessgrowthfortheChinaDirectShipplatform,sourcingnewvendors,identifyingandsourcingoftrends.
•Drivemetricsandsourcinggoalstosupportsteepgrowthtrajectory
•Workedwithvendorsandfactoriestodrivedowncostwhilecontrollingdeliverytimelineandquality.
•Lead,coachandtrainteamonsourcing,our“pitch”andplatform
•Attendtradeshow,vendorvisitsandassistwithvendorsetupnegotiations
•Mustexhibitandsetafastpaceandtheabilitytochangedirectionif,andwhen,needed.
•Overseestaffingandassistwithsettinguptravelbudgets
•Manageandfacilitatepaidtimeoff,expensereportsaccordingtotravel/officebudget
•Assistwiththerecruitment,interviewingandhiring,onboardingandtrainingofnewhires(partnerwithHQtrainingteamtofacilitatenewhireonboarding)
•Engagewithteamtocreateharmoniousandpositiveworkingenvironmenttobuildeffectiveteam.Providetalentdevelopmentplan,performancemanagementandcoaching.
•Oversee,troubleshootanddriveresolutionofkeyvendortechnicalspec/productionissues
•ProposeandimplementideasforcontinuousimprovementtodriveefficienciesbetweenHQandChinateams
REQUIREMENT
•Universitygraduate
•5yearsormoreworkingexperienceasamanagerinofficemanagementideallyaspartofaLeadershipteamand/orinacreative,agileindustryenvironment(e.g.tech/internet,fashion,marketing,media…)
•ComprehensiveApparelexperiencewithintheareasoutlinedbelow:
oExperiencewithfit
oExperiencewithU.S.sizing
oExperiencewithFastFashion
•Flexibleandeasyadaptertonewandfast-pacedenvironmentandabilitytointeractwithandworkacrossdifferentcultures
•Leadershipskills;strongpeoplemanagementskills
•Clearcommunicationandtheabilitytoinfluenceatalllevels,aswellastowardsawiderangeofbusinessfunctions(bothin-houseandvirtually)
•Effectivedecision-making;abilitytoprioritizeandisdetail-oriented
•FluentinEnglishandChinese(writtenandspoken)
•Workexperienceinmultinationalsispreferred
•MustlivewithintheShenzhenarea.

ChinaDirectShip是一个新推出的平台,旨在为我们业务的所有领域寻找新品、在中国找到能以无与伦比的价格提供独特产品的优质供应商、能积极追赶潮流新品并在美国或全球市场上市之前测试这些产品。
加入快节奏的成长期团队,并致力于管理我们中国的采购/技术设计/质量管理团队。本职务的额外职能包括但不限于联络并协调西雅图总部团队和中国第三方合作伙伴、美国质检部门和运营/物流部门。
职责
•学习并领悟我们的商业模式和竞争格局,了解公司市场情况以及我们是如何适应市场的
•带领团队激励供应商,促进中国分区旗舰平台的商品和业务增长,开发新供应商,识别并开发新潮流
•推动指标和采购目标,以支持飞速的增长轨迹
•与供应商和工厂协作,削减成本,同时控制交货时间和质量
•带领,引导,培训团队成员的采购技能,我们的平台,和我们方式的pitch技能
•参加贸易展,拜访供应商并协助供应商谈判
•必须有展现出并建立起快节奏的能力,在需要的时候有能力及时、迅速的转变方向
•管理团队并协助建立出差预算
•管理并改善带薪休假,根据旅行/办和预算进行成本报告
•协助招聘,面试,入职和新员工培训(和总部的培训团队合作来执行新员工的入职培训)
•与团队协作,打造和谐积极的工作环境,建立高效能团队并制定人才培养计划、绩效管理和培训计划
•监督关键的供应商技术/产品问题,解决问题并推动解决方案的执行
要求
•大学本科毕业
•5年或更多的办公室管理经理的工作经验,最好作为领导团队管理和/或在创意、灵活业界环境的工作经验(如技术/网络、潮流、市场营销、媒体...)
•拥有以下方面的丰富经验:
o服装的试穿、合适及合身;
o美国的尺码标准;
o快时尚;
•思维灵活,能快速适应快节奏的新环境,具有跨文化沟通协作能力
•优秀的人际关系能力
•良好的沟通能力,对公司不同层级部门具有影响力,尤其是各种业务部门(面对面及线上)
•高效决策力,能够妥善安排工作优先顺序,关注细节
•英语、汉语流利(口语及书面)
•拥有跨国公司工作经验优先
•必须在深圳地区居住
