Responsibilities:
Manageclient’scustomsconsultantsandcustomsbrokerstoensurecompliant,efficient,andcost-effectiveentryofgoods.Establishandmonitorserviceproviders’performanceagainstclearlydefinedKeyPerformanceIndicator’s(KPI’s)
Provideregulatoryinterpretationandguidanceinthefollowingareas:Anti-boycott/RestrictiveTradePractices,ExportControlClassification,ExportLicensing,Compliancetraining,ExportDocumentation,TariffClassification,CustomsValuation,DutyDrawback,Reconciliation,CountryofOriginMarking,CountryofOriginDetermination,Recordkeeping,PreferencePrograms/FTAsandCustomsClearance
Ensureproperproducttariffclassificationandvaluationinformation
Developandmaintaincustomizedcomplianceprogramsandprocessesspecifictoclientneeds
Conductauditstoassesstheexport/importcomplianceofclientandsupportingoperatingentitiesAssistindeterminingandimplementingcorrectiveactionswherenecessary
Gatherandprovidedetailedanalysisandinformationwhichmayfinanciallyimpactsourcingdecisions
Managesuppliercontractsandinterfacewithclient’ssuppliers
Identifycostsavingsopportunitiesfromclientdatasources
Leadnumerousadhocteamsacrosstheorganizationonaprojectbyprojectbasis
Continuouslyevaluatecurrentprocessesandrecommendrelevantchangesorimprovementstoincreaseefficiency/productivity
Requirements&Competencies:
Bachelor’sorequivalentcollegedegree
Relevantexperience,tradecomplianceknowledge(particularlytradeoperationssupport,previousbrokerageexperience)
ExperiencewithTaiwan’sNCCpermitapplicationandMalaysia’sSIRIMapplicationisabigplus
FluentinEnglish
