POSITIONSUMMARY

ClinicaltranslationspecialistcollaborateswithLeadwritersinJanssenChinateam,andmembersoftheChinaclinicalstudyteamtoprovideclinicaldossiertranslation,includingbutnotlimitedtoprotocolsandClinicalStudyReports(CSRs),fromEnglishtoChineseandfromChinesetoEnglish.Thescopeoftheworkincludesglobal,regional,andlocalstudiesacrossallphasesofhumandevelopment.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

A.Responsibleforconductingpreliminarytranslation/postediting/QCreviewandpreparingsoundtranslatedscientific/clinicaldocumentsinassignedtherapeuticareas

B.Specificduties:

1.Translatedocumentswithincreasingindependence.

a.Translateddocumentsmustbeofhighqualityintermsofscientificcontent,aswellasorganizationperregulatoryandinternalguidances,clarity,andaccuracy,withattentiontoformatandconsistency.

b.Translateddocumentsmustbepreparedwithinestablishedtimelinesandinaccordancewithinternalprocesses.

2.Conductpostediting/QCreviewontranslationdonebymachineorvendors.

3.Providevaluablefeedbacktomachinetranslationresultwithaviewtoimprovemachinetranslationquality.

4.Workcollaborativelyinateamenvironment,andtakesaproactiveroleonmultipleassignedprojectswithrespecttotiming,scheduling,tracking,andregulatorystrategyasappropriate.
