门诊口腔科护士SUMMARY:

-Operatesfromadeepunderstandingofthetotalsituation.Collaborateswithothercaregiverstochallengeandcoordinateinstitutionalresourcestomaximizeadvocacyforpatientandfamilycareinachievingthemosteffectiveoutcomes.

ESSENTIALTASKS:

-Assessplan,implementandevaluatethenursingcareofpatientsthroughouttheclinic

-Documentaccuratelyandconciselythecareprovidedanditsoutcome

-Carryoutinvestigationandtreatmentprescribedbythephysician

-Communicateanddiscusspatient’sresponsetotreatmentandprogresswithphysicianandnursingcolleaguesassignedtopatient.

-Prepareandassistphysicianwithprocedures.

-Collaborateandco-operatewithphysiciansandotherhealthcareprovidersinthesmoothdeliveryofpatientcareandservice.

-Follow-uptoensurecontinuityofpatientcareandtreatmentplan.

-Deliversafeandcompetentnursingcare.

-Demonstrateclinicalskills,knowledgeandcriticalthinkinginthedeliveryofpatientcare.

-Providepatient/familyinformationandeducationondiseaseprevention,processandrehabilitation.

-Managecomplexpatientcare.

-Maintainandcareintheuseoftheequipmentandsupplies.

-Actasaresourceperson.

-Cross-coverasheadnurseassigned.

-Supervisejuniornursesandbepreceptorasassigned.

-Modifyinterventionsbasedonadeepunderstandingofpatientandfamilyneedsattainedthroughpastexperiences.

-Participateininterdisciplinaryforumsthatpromoteanintegratedapproachtopatientcare.

-Implementuniqueandinnovativeapproachestomeetingpatient,family,andunitandpracticeconcerns.

-Lead/coordinateactivitiesthatimpactthequalityofcareontheunitand/orpatientpopulation.

-Actasaresourcetocolleaguesinrelationtoapatientpopulation.

-Skillfullynegotiateconflicttopromotecollaboration.

-Understandher/hisroleasamemberofthehealthcareteam.

-Activelyempowerandadvocateforpatientsandfamiliestomaximizetheirparticipationindecision-makingandgoalsetting.

-Workeffectivelyonclinic-widecommitteesandinitiatives.

-Atleast5yearsworkingexperiencesinDentalclinic.

-Requirethestrongcapabilityinclinicaljudgementanddecision-makingduringtheabsenceofteamleader.

-Provideguidanceandorientationtonursingstaffassignedtotheunit.

-Facilitatethesmoothrunningofthedepartment

-Demonstrategoodinterpersonalskillswiththepublicandstaff

-Demonstrateawarenessofcurrentnursingandhealthcarepractices

-Participateinresearch,clinicalandservicequalityactivities.

-Takeanexpandedroleasassignedanddeputizethenursemanagerinher/hisabsence.SUMMARY:
