ThePACGroupisseekingaSeniorSupplierQualityEngineer,with8-15years’experiencetojoinitsShanghaiOperationsteam.

Requirements:

Trainingandfollow-uponAPQP-Documents(ControlPlan,FMEA,processflow);SupplierassessmentstoimprovethedeficienciesfoundduringtheauditorhelpedsupplierprepareforanOEM’sauditoraTS16949audit;Managingandfollow-uponnewproductlaunch–APQPactivities;LeadingandsupportofGapclosureactivitiestohelpsupplierclosetheopenissuestomeetqualitysystemrequirementofcustomer;Managingandmonitoringsupplierqualityperformanceofproductiontoensurethrough-outanddeliveredquantity&dateappropriately.

Potentialcandidateswilldemonstrateahighlevelabilityandcapabilityto:

•ProvidetrainingtoSuppliercompaniesondevelopmentandreportingofAPQPdocumentation(ControlPlans,FMEAs,ProcessFlow,etc.),andsubsequentlytomonitor&follow-uponthequalityofsuchdocumentationataSupplierlocation.

•PerformSupplierAssessmentstosetthebasisforimprovementofdeficienciesidentifiedduringaSupplierAudit,and/ortohelpaSupplierprepareforanOEM’sQualityauditoraTS16949audit.

•Manageandfollow-uponnewproductlaunch–APQPactivities.

•DevelopSuppliergapclosureimprovementplan;withemphasisonusingprojectmanagementapproachtoprioritizingcorrectiveactions.

•GuideandsupportaSupplier'sgapclosureactivities,withafocustohelptheSuppliertoeffectivelytrack,addressandcloseopenissuesrequiredtomeetqualitysystemtargetsfromtheircustomer.

•ManageandmonitorSupplierqualityperformanceforproductiontoensurethrough-put,andthatproductiontargetshavebeenmetinthedesiredquantityattherequiredtime.

Requirements:

•Automotivecommodityexpertiseinstampedparts,machiningofcastorforgedparts,orplasticinjection/assemblypartsforbodywhite,chassis,structure,interiorandexterioretc.

•ThoroughknowledgeoftheAPQPprocessandallassociateddocumentation.

•Aptitudeand/orexperienceintrainingengineerseffectively.

•Previousexperienceinauditingsupplier'soutgoingproductquality.

•Goodproblem-solvingskillswiththoroughunderstandingof8DReports,5Whymethodology,SPCetc.

•SolidunderstandingofISO9000,QS9000,andTS16949Siteauditrequirements.

•ProficiencyintransferringknowledgetoSupplierteamsforsustainablecontinuousimprovement.

•Abilityandwillingnesstotravel.

•Goodanalysisskills.

•Demonstratedintegrity,enthusiasmandteam-spirit.

Candidatesshouldhavepriorworkexperienceinautomotivemanufacturingfacilities.

Previousoverseasprojectassignmentsareviewedasaplus.

English/Chinesespeaking,readingandwritingcapabilities.
