Translateinternaland/orexternalcustomersqualityexpectationsintofactorsthatcanbemeasuredandintegratequalityinitiativesintoprojectsthroughoutthelifecycleoftheproduct.AssuretheQualityofprocessesandproductsbyconsistentlypromotingcontinuousimprovementinallareas.

Responsibilities:

FunctionasthevoiceofthecustomerregardingqualityissuesandtorepresentLairdtothecustomer.

Developworkingrelationshipswithassignedcustomersandteammembers.

Develop,revise,andmaintainQualitydocumentationasnecessary.

FacilitateandparticipateintheContinuousImprovementeffortsutilizingQualityTools.

FacilitateandparticipateintheCorrectiveActionprocess(8D),theMRB(MaterialReviewBoard)process,theFirstArticleprocess,PartCertificationprocess,andtheBusinessSystemAuditingprocess.

OverseetheactivitiesofQualityInspectorsasassignedtoachievequalityobjectives.

Monitorpartnersandsuppliersregardingeffectiveandontimefailureanalysis;reviewtheir8D-reports.

AssistinAdvancedQualityPlanningforNewProductsasrequiredbyProjectManagement

AssistDepartmentswithQualitySystemandProductQualityrelatedissuesandcoordinatetheQualityeffort.

Analyzeandproviderecommendationsoffailureanalysisofcomponentsreturnedbythecustomerasrequired.

Createqualityrelatedreportsforinternalandexternaldistribution.

Performsupplieraudits,internalauditsandparticipateincustomeraudits.

EstablishandmaintainqualitydatalikePPM,D/P-FMEA,8Ds,PPAP's,SPC,MSAandothersasappropriate.

Workwithmanufacturingpartnersandsuppliersregardingtheirspecificrequirements.

CoordinatethePPAPprocess(includingdeveloping,reviewingandapprovingFMEAs,ControlPlans,MSA,SPC,etc…asappropriate)workingwithallpartiesinvolved(e.g.,engineering,suppliers/manufacturingpartners,operations…)toensurecustomerandLT

Providetrainingonqualityrelatedtopicstoothersintheorganization.

Adherestoqualityandsafetysystemsormaintenanceofqualityandsafetystandards.

Requirements:

Excellentcommunicationskills.

AbilitytoworkwellinaTeamenvironment.

Effectivelypresentinformationandrespondtoquestionsfromgroups.

AbilitytoworkwithmanagementtoestablishprojectMilestonesandexecuteswithlittlesupervisionrequired.

Abilitytoworktowarddefinedobjectiveswithlittledirectsupervision.

Demonstratedunderstandingofnewproductdevelopmentprocessesandworkflow.

WorkswellinaTeamenvironmentandguidestheteam.

Demonstratedexperienceinparticipatingonmulti-disciplinaryproductdevelopmentteams.

Goodknowledgeofaparticulartechnicalareawithinthejobresponsibility.

Abletoworksuccessfullyinadeadline-driven,fastpacedenvironmentandeffectivelymulti-taskmultipleprioritiesinateam-orientedenvironment.

Mustbeflexibleandabletoadapttochangingrequirementsandschedules.

BachelorsDegreeinEngineeringorrelatedfield.?5-8yearsofexperience
